Statement of Faith

We believe that G-d is One (Deut 6:4) He is Echad (a compound unity). He is the Creator of Heaven and Earth. He has manifested and revealed Himself to mankind through His Word consisting of the Tanak: Torah (teaching/instruction), Nevi'im (the Prophets), Ketuvim (the Writings), and the B'rit Chadashah (The New Covenant or New Testament).

We believe His Word, in the original text, to be divinely inspired, authoritative, and infallible.

We believe that our imperfections (sin) separate us from G-d, and that reconciliation between us and a Holy G-d requires a blood sacrifice
(Lev 17:11, Heb 9:22)

We believe that Yeshua (Jesus) is the promised Messiah, who by His death, accomplished that sacrifice, once and for all, for everyone who believes in Him.  (Isaiah 53, 1 Cor 5:7, Heb 9:14, Yochanan 1:29, 3:16)

We believe that this atoning work of Yeshua the Messiah is a reflection of G-d's grace and mercy to us, and is offered freely to all.  The salvation of G-d cannot be earned, nor do we deserve it.  It is solely G-d's gift to us, which we accept wholly by faith.
(Gen 15:6, John 3:16, Eph 2:8-9, Heb 11:6)

We believe in the Ruach HaKodesh who comes bringing spiritual and ministry gifts (1 Cor 12:1-31). We believe that these gifts are available to all in the Body of Messiah, both Jew and Gentile, both male and female, and that gifts are given to believers to empower them (Acts 1:8).

We believe that Yeshua (Jesus) reigns in this present age in His spiritual kingdom by the workings of the Ruach HaKodesh, and that He will return again to the earth to establish His literal kingdom.

We believe that those who know Messiah Yeshua should live a life of holiness, evidenced by obedience to the Word of G-d, consisting of the Tanak and the B'rit Chadashah. This obedience makes us a distinct people in the earth.

We believe that the L-rd has divinely ordained and established His mo'edim (festivals) as signs and appointed and anointed meeting times between Him and His people (Lev 23). We believe that Yeshua is to be celebrated within these festivals, as He is the Living Torah.

We believe that G-d's covenant with Israel is eternal, including Israel's right to the Land promised to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob (Gen 12).

We believe that through faith in Yeshua the Messiah, non-Jews are grafted into the Olive Tree of Israel and become full partakers in the Commonwealth of Israel.

We also believe that as part of the Commonwealth of Israel, we should at all times seek the welfare of the Jewish people and the state of Israel. We will at all times uphold them and seek their good.

We believe in both the unity and equality of Jewish and Gentile believers, who together make up the Body of Messiah.

We believe in the present-day ministry of Yeshua continuing through all believers, and that He has established emissaries, prophets, proclaimers of the Good News, shepherds and teachers to equip G-d's people for the work of service in building His kingdom (Eph 4:11-13).

We believe that all men and women are created equal in the kingdom of G-d, and that many scriptural verses relating to the leadership and authority of women have been misunderstood and misinterpreted. We believe that restoring the Hebraic foundation, context, and original text will reveal that both men and women can hold any position of authority and leadership at the anointing and appointing of the L-rd.

We believe that women can be anointed and appointed by G-d to act in full authority as a congregational Leader or Rabbi.
