Rabbis Lydia & Ben

Lydia and her husband Ben are originally from the Philadelphia area. They have been active in the Messianic movement since the mid 1980s, having served in various congregational capacities, as well as spearheading the planting of two Messianic congregations.  Lydia is formally continuing her education in Jewish studies and sociology.  Ben received his BA in Communications from Temple University and hold a Masters in Management from the University of Maryland.   Active as worship leaders, Lydia and Ben have written and recorded an original Messianic worship CD.  In addition to this, both Lydia and Ben have conducted numerous seminars on Shabbat, feasts and festivals, Messianic dance, and topics of special interest to women. Lydia has also developed Messianic curriculum for both adults and children. Rabbi Lydia has a special burden for Arab/Jewish reconciliation, and has been active in that area, helping to present cultural fairs and lectures as a board member of an Arab cultural organization.
